Pendampingan Pelaksanaan Program Peningkatan Kualitas Membaca Al Qur’an Melalui Metode Tahsin di Dusun Cepak Sekarjati Ngawi

Abstract

One of the most important aspects in a Muslim's life is the ability to read the Koran accurately. Despite this, many mothers in several communities still have difficulty with tajwid, makharijul letters, and fluency in reading the Koran. By using the Tahsin method—which combines spiritual transformation, education, and mentoring—this study seeks to improve the quality of Al-Qur'an reading for mothers. The service uses participatory and interactive strategies that include reading exercises, theoretical learning sessions, and regular assessments conducted under close supervision. Research findings show that mothers' understanding and proficiency in reading the Koran increases through the Tahsin approach. Accurate application of tajwid laws, increased self-confidence when reading the Koran aloud, and letter pronunciation are examples of this progress. This curriculum had beneficial effects on spiritual change in addition to its technical features, as participating mothers reported feeling more motivated to learn and apply the Qur'an in their daily lives. In conclusion, it has been proven that the Tahsin approach, if accompanied by continuous instruction and close guidance, can increase participants' spiritual awareness and improve the quality of their Al-Quran reading. Therefore, it is recommended that this learning approach be used in various situations, especially for groups of mothers who want to continue to improve their understanding of the Al-Quran.
